On Saturday, 1st November, 2025, the Ilogbo High School Alumni Association proudly joined in celebrating a landmark achievement in the life of one of its distinguished members, Chief (Dr) Babatope Daniel Olukitibi, following the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy title Ilufemiloye of Uso Land, Ondo State. The historic ceremony was graciously conducted by His Royal Majesty, Oba Engr. Ademola Adebiyi Oyinbade Olanipekun III, the Oloba of Uso Kingdom, and was attended by respected traditional rulers, dignitaries, and community leaders from within and beyond the state. The President of the Ilogbo High School Alumni Association, Prince Idowu Jegede, led members of the Executive and alumni delegation to Uso to witness and honour this significant occasion. This well-deserved recognition reflects Chief Olukitibi’s outstanding contributions to community development, leadership, and service to humanity. His elevation within the traditional institution of Uso Land stands as a testament to a life of integrity, dedication, and selfless commitment—values firmly rooted in the formative principles of Ilogbo High School. Notably, this honour comes only months after His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Edward Ajayi, the Owalogbo of Ilogbo-Ekiti, conferred on him an honorary chieftaincy title as the Aare Asiwaju of Ilogbo-Ekiti, further underscoring his growing influence and impact across communities. The ceremony was marked by rich cultural displays, traditional rites, and expressions of goodwill, creating an atmosphere of pride and celebration. The presence of the Alumni Association delegation highlighted the strong bonds of unity within the alumni body and its enduring tradition of celebrating the achievements of its members.
