The Golden Jubilee Anniversary of Ilogbo High School was a historic and heartfelt celebration of the enduring spirit, resilience, and shared legacy of our alumni over the past 50 years. One of the most nostalgic moments of the event was when members of the alumni, led by Mr. Babatunde Joel Agbebi, dressed in their school uniforms to take commemorative pictures. These photos served as a symbolic tribute to the pride we hold in our alma mater and the memories we continue to cherish. In line with the values instilled in us by our school, the anniversary also included a medical outreach program, where free medical tests and treatments were provided to the community. This act of service reflected our commitment to giving back and improving the well-being of those around us. Adding a touch of fun and camaraderie, a novelty football match was held between the Alumni Team and the Class of 1984. This spirited match brought together alumni from across generations, creating an atmosphere of joy and teamwork that underscored the unity and vibrancy of our community. A key highlight of the celebration was the award presentation ceremony, where notable individuals were recognized for their contributions. Among them was Pastor Kayode Adeleye, a former Yoruba teacher, who was honored for his dedication and the lasting impact he had on the lives of his students. The reunion was further enriched by group photographs of various graduating sets, providing a wonderful opportunity for alumni to reconnect, rekindle friendships, and celebrate their shared history.
